Reaching Forward Together

The Project

Churches that have led the way in reaching people for Christ in recent years have recognized that 21st century outreach usually requires Christians to make a concerted effort to build relationships of friendship and trust with those who are not yet followers of Christ. Growing churches know that their buildings need to include the kinds of spaces that allow people to learn, play, and fellowship together in a non-threatening environment so that these kinds of relationships can be built. We are a loving, friendly, and caring church. Yet our facilities are not currently designed to help us accomplish the kind of outreach to the community that is required today.

Our Community Missions Building will provide exactly this kind of space. The gym and coffee/snack bar will give us multiple opportunities to allow relationships to develop in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. In addition, these same spaces, along with several new classrooms, will provide additional worship space, fellowship space, and will make room for 6 to 9 new Bible study classes to be started. The multipurpose design of our Community Missions Building will allow us to be good stewards and to accomplish our goals.

Funding

The Reaching Forward Together campaign is the title for our effort to raise 100% of the funds to build this new Community Missions Building. Our fundraising effort will include donations of cash, checks, donations-in-kind, and faith promises over three years. Together we can move forward in creating new opportunities to reach others for Christ.
